Workshop in the Netherlands; keynote talks at NACIS and Swiss Statistical Society

In the past few weeks I had to cancel a couple of events for personal reasons but, fortunately, life is fond of regressing toward the mean, so everything's getting back on track. Classes at the University of Miami are going very well —I have three talented groups of undergrad and grad students,— the third Massive Open Online Course begins on Sunday (you can still register), and I'm doing some workshops and presentations in the near future.

I'll be a keynote speaker at the North American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS) Annual Meeting and also at the Swiss Statistical Society summit. In November, I will teach my new 1-day workshop, The Insightful Art, in the Netherlands; besides explaining visualization principles, I'll also offer an overview of what my next book will cover. Please drop by to say hello if you're around.
