Malofiej 2014: The program

A few months ago, I wrote this in the blog of the Malofiej Infographics Summit:
"More than two decades have passed since the first Malofiej Infographics Summit and if something has become clear to me is that anyone who does information graphics, visualization, or data journalism for a living should try to attend at least once. This is our Mecca, the place to meet the leaders in the industry and learn from them. Malofiej is both an inspiring and humbling experience.
It’s also the perfect venue to share your own work and ideas with colleagues from all over the world, and to admire the projects and technologies that will define our future. Lifetime friendships have been born during the conferences, workshops, lunches, dinners, and drinks enjoyed during Malofiej. Fruitful partnerships have been stablished. Hires have been made. Innovations have received the attention they deserved.
But, above all that, what makes Malofiej special and relevant is that it has helped improve the quality of news graphics, and now it’s doing the same for the larger world of information visualization. It has become a truly interdisciplinary conference.
I really hope to see you in Pamplona this year. You won’t regret it if you decide to come."

Malofiej, which takes place at the end of March this year, is divided into three events: A 3-day workshop called 'Show, Don't Tell!' (which I co-teach: see its program,) a 2-day summit, and an awards ceremony. Almost a whole week of visualization-related stuff, plus good Spanish wine and food. It doesn't get much better than that, does it?

The program for the summit has just been released, and it's pretty impressive. See image below.
