Last March I was interviewed by the organizers of the Big Bang Data exhibit. You can visit it these days if you drop by Barcelona. I was asked to explain the beauty of some classic visualizations, such as John Snow's, Florence Nightingale's, and Charles Joseph Minard's. Those videos are not available online yet (they'll be soon,) but you can get a sense of the questions Big Bang Data aspires to answer by watching the clip below, in which a bunch of people talk about what data can and cannot do.
