Mapping Oscar movies

Our new project, Mapping America’s Taste in Oscar Films, is live. It was designed by Polygraph and it maps YouTube trailer views of Oscar-nominated movies during their opening week. This is part of a series of visualizations that includes other projects like World Potus, Rhythm of Food, Inaugurate, and The Year in Language.
