Years ago I had the privilege of working at ProPublica for around a month. As a non-coder, I couldn't help much with interactive projects so, at the same time that I was observing the dynamics of the newsroom —something I used for the
Nerd Journalism e-book— I offered help with illustrations
such as these ones.
I also drew
portraits of many folks from the newsroom and outside that the ProPublica nerds team has just transformed into a typeface! It's called
