Hans Rosling's latest visualization-driven documentary

I'm really bad at making predictions, but I couldn't resist the temptation to write one after watching Hans Rosling's latest documentary, Don't Panic —The Facts About Population, published in his website today. Here it is: A decade or two from now, historians of visualization and infographics —and perhaps of statistics, data science, etc.— will consider Rosling's work as one of the factors to explain the increasing popularity of those crafts. His latest video combines the best features of his previous lectures: Good data, an engaging presentation style, and fun and informative motion graphics. If you are familiar with Rosling's talks, a good chunk of Don't Panic will sound familiar and even a bit redundant, but there's plenty of new stuff in it to keep you engaged for an hour. I wouldn't miss it.
